This is just something I've been thinking about for a while... I usually don't like putting up journals like this, but I feel that I need to address this.
I really do appreciate the love and support from Banzai fans--I really do. As imperfect as we are, it's nice to know that we have been providing smiles to people around the world--literally. However, what concerns me are comments such as, "Oz is my favorite!" or "Oz is the best! Oh, everyone else is awesome, too."
To be honest, those comments make me a little uncomfortable because Banzai is not just about me. It's never been just about me (I'm disregarding the days where I started it off by myself because those don't really matter). Also, I would be nowhere near where I am today if it wasn't for SuperWeaselPrincess's sewing technique, ChEsHiRe-K's innovative ideas, or ValdaValsha's keen eye for detail and accuracy. Honestly. I say that with utmost sincerity. Those three are just as wonderful cosplayers, if not, more than me. To me, when someone plays favorites and openly expresses it about any of us, it's a bit disrespectful to the other members of BanzaiProductions. We're all on equal ground in this cosplay group because we're friends first before being cosplayers. No one person is above the other. We have our independence, yes, but if we're going to rise, then we rise together because we are a group.
I know I can't control the actions of our fans, but I just wanted to personally address this. I hope we, as BanzaiProductions, continue bringing smiles to you in the years to come.
(P.S. Happy Easter, everyone!)

Facebook Page!
Hello, everyone!
So the reason why I have not been as active here on DA is because I now have my own personal facebook fanpage! All of Banzai! Productions has their own pages now. I'm slowly moving everything from DA over to my facebook page. I'll still keep this account open and check it periodically, but I won't nearly be as active.
The reason why I'm switching gears is because Facebook is a lot easier to manage and I can branch out to audiences way easier. We explain it more in detail in a video we posted a while back on Youtube. You can watch it here.
But we're still perfectly active and still in love with cosplay! We're actually
Thank you~!
I logged on to my DA account today and was absolutely bombarded with so many birthday wishes from yesterday! It would take forever to reply to them individually, but I read every single one!
So thank you to all of you!

A Year of Cosplay: 2013
Wow, so another year has passed along with another line of cosplays. I’ll be a little more lengthy this year and share my thoughts about each costume I completed this year. Go below the cut to read more about my summary of cosplays for 2013..
The first costume I completed in 2013 I had actually started in 2012. And that was Skyloft Link, which was debuted at Taiyou Con 2013.

When I played Skyward Sword for the first time, I loved Link’s Skyloft design and I caved. It wasn’t a cosplay that I had initially planned on doing, it just…sort of happened on a whim. I still didn’t quit

It works both ways, it's not fair to assume 'favorite' means; Oh, He/She likes me and only me, that must mean that he/she doesn't care about the others at all!
The difference can be small, very small, as in you perhaps cosplay'd a persons favorite game/movie/show/anime character closer than most can and deleted their comment.
Don't get me wrong, the others portrayed their characters just as well. I've never, ever forgotten how well SWP, Valda and Cheshire cosplayed their Vocaloids.
I once said, "Oz is my favorite", because she portrayed Len SO well and got my comment deleted. Her costume was awesome, her looks were very similar and in my mind, in a non-offensive way, she looked just as boyish like Len.
But that never, ever meant that I loved Oz above anyone else in Banzai!Pro. And it hurt my feelings to be called out on that.
So yeah, maybe I hurt your feelings, but you also hurt mine. Almost to the point that I didn't want to be your fan anymore. Same thinking; if I did, it wouldn't be fair to the others.
