Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me.

Nintendo STEALS Money!Since this has been going around lately, I should probably give my two cents. Basically what it amounts to is that Nintendo has filed Content ID info of their games with YouTube. What this means is that if you upload gameplay video of a Nintendo game, YouTube will automatically monetize that video, put ads on it, a link to where to buy the game, and take the money generated from that video and give it directly to Nintendo. People who do "let's play" videos are, naturally, pissed off because they want to be earning money off their videos, so they're calling Nintendo "thieves" for doing this.
I can see both sides to the story. I can see Nintendo as a corporation wanting to exercise control over their properties. On the other hand, "let's play" videos can often help new gamers find games they otherwise wouldn't have tried.
But here's the thing: Nintendo isn't the first company do this. Both Microsoft and Ubisoft do it already. YouTube has also had a long history of having music videos and

Yeah, sorry about not being active lately and all. It's been a CRAZY semester. I'm literally out from dawn until dusk with school plus ridiculous homework. I still have a few pictures in the archives of my computer, it's just a matter of digging them up, editing them, and posting them. XD But I'm alive and still working on cosplay! Fortunately, there's only like... a week and a half left of the semester. Granted, it's probably going to be incredibly hellish, but at least it'll be over. Not liking the fact that our Christmas break has been cut down to two and a half weeks, but at least I'll get some rest time. @_@ If you follow me on Tumblr, I'm more active there with reblogging random crap.

Random question: Are you making the WW2 version of Alfie? Or Revolutionary War version? Just curious because I wanted to know if you were making the bomber jacket, I've been looking for one for a while and all the good ones I see are super-expensive. x_x

It's the WW2 version.

And I actually finished him--pictures to upload are pending. :3 And the bomber jacket is fairly simple to make, the only thing that was slightly difficult was working with the fabric.
