Upcoming cosplays for 2012!



Costumes that are definitely coming this year:

Allen Walker (Crown Clown) - To be debuted Anime Expo 2012!  This group is a huge project for us.  I'm so freaking excited.

Tsunashi Takuto (Ginga Bishounen) - To be debuted at Phoenix Comicon 2012!  My next dream cosplay after the secret one.  When I watched Star Driver, I knew this was a must do cosplay.  And actually, we recently planned out a Star Driver group as well!

Len Kagamine, Servant of Evil - To be debuted Anime Expo 2012!  I will be accompanying *ValdaValsha's Daughter of Evil Rin.  These costumes are special because we created our own designs for them.  All of us here at Banzai are working really hard on new "really fancy" Vocaloid costumes.  And we're excited to show them off!

Vocaloid Oliver - Possibly to be debuted at Phoenix Comicon 2012!  It turns out that I have an extra day to go to at PHXCC with all the panels that we're hosting.  Aside from our "fancy Vocaloid costumes" all of us are planning on cosplaying new Vocaloid characters.  Yes, I have every intention to somehow get a bird on my shoulder named James.  I found some spare fabric laying around that happened to be the right colors, soooo.... yeah, he's happening. XD

Ciel Phantomhive, Ciel In Wonderland - To be debuted at Anime Expo 2012This costume is just too full of crack to pass up. XD I'm strangely attracted to it even though it's really feminine for Ciel. Thank goodness he's at least wearing shorts.

Okumura Yukio - Not sure when this will be debuted...This is part of a Blue Exorcist group that we had planned since Anime Expo last year. XD  I will be the oddball out, being the only human surrounded by three demons. D:  Of course I will have a twin, Rin, and there will be Mephisto and Amaimon.  I bought some of the fabric and have the wig!
Completion Progress:

Oz Vessalius, Dance Party Version - Not sure when this will be debuted...We've been wanting to bring back Pandora Hearts for a loooong while!  We miss it so dearly!  And we pretty much fell in love with the dance party outfits they wear in chapter 47(?) of the manga.  We plan to enter these into the masquerade and... already have an idea for the skit. XD (We decided to brainstorm A LOT one day).  I'm very excited to finally do one of Oz's fancy outfits!

Costumes that are likely to make it into 2012:


Skyloft Link - This costume is actually in the works already!  Initially, it was to be debuted at Anime Expo with Sylar of *Aicosu's Skyward Sword group.  But with the amount of stuff I have to do, plus budget, plus time constraints, it's probably not going to happen then. XD  But it will happen sometime soon hopefully!

Twilight Princess, Link - Not sure when I'll debut this.  And yes, I do already have a cosplay of Link from Twilight Princess.  I've been wanting to remake this costume completely for a very long time.  This is my favorite character design of Link and since it was my first "successful" cosplay, I think it deserves a little more love than what I've been giving it so far.  I intend to start from the very beginning and try my best to make it look flawless.



Costumes that are a Maybe of 2012:

Dream-Eating Baku Len -  from this PV [link] I saw the costume and instantly fell in love with it.  I'm not to cosplay it until my Rin does her own design, though. XD

Magnet Len, Angelic Version -  [link] One of the Len costumes that has been on my mind since I first started cosplaying Len.  Hopefully we'll get to it soon!

Karakuri Burst Len - from this PV [link] .  The only thing that sucks is that I have to get a new wig. -.-  We actually have a whole group planned for this, but we have no idea when we'll get to it. XD

Haha they're all Len costumes  These may be subject to change since I'm always finding new things.  The list may even grow. XD;



Fun Costumes to be made on the side:

Ocarina of Time, Link - I technically already have the fabric and some of the other materials for this.  This is my childhood hero!  How can I resist?



Costumes I have yet to formally debut in 2012!

Prussia - I've had this completed for a while, I just need to wear it to a con!  I've been working on my German accent!
Paperboy Ciel - A costume I did on the side for the midnight showing of Sherlock Holmes.  It turned out a lot better than I thought it would considering that I didn't take it as seriously as I do my other costumes.  Hopefully I'll have a photoshoot with it one day!
